This year as well, with the motto “Sacrifices for Brotherhood, Saplings for Humanity”, sacrifices will be delivered to our brothers and sisters and saplings will be planted for humanity. While our sacrifices become prayers for our brotherhood, the saplings will become prayers rising to the sky for humanity.

In the changing and developing modern world, people are increasingly being isolated and individualized. Becoming more self-centered, people spend their lives unaware of what is happening around them, confined to their own world. By moving away from noble values such as solidarity, sharing and brotherhood, they in fact harm both themselves and society. People who possess compassion, conscience and a sense of responsibility can stop this course.

After the two major earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, great responsibilities fall upon all of us to heal the wounds, ease the pain and keep hope alive.

Of course we cannot bring back those who lost their lives, the memories and the happy family days. But we can support them, give them morale, inspire hope and help them rebuild their future.

With its representatives and teams in Turkey—especially in the earthquake regions—and in 20 different regions abroad, Yardımeli Association will once again knock on the doors of needy people and orphan families in the most remote places this Eid, building bridges of goodness and compassion through the sacrificial shares delivered to them. The sacrifices entrusted to our association by proxy are slaughtered according to Islamic procedures while the donor’s name is recited and distributed accordingly. Donors will receive an SMS confirmation once the donation is received and another SMS once the sacrifice is performed. The sacrifice slaughter video can later be watched on our website with the password given to you, and upon request the footage can also be sent to your address on a CD.

One Sapling for Every Sacrifice; A Gift to My Brother

The campaign “1 Sacrifice 1 Sapling”, launched in 2018 within the scope of the Sacrifice Slaughtering and Distribution Organization successfully carried out every year in Turkey and different regions of our heartland geography, will continue this year as well.

Prophetic Saying

Within this project, a sapling is planted in predetermined regions for each sacrificed animal. African countries, where hot climates prevail and drought and poverty are common, as well as certain regions in our country have been selected as implementation areas.

Necessary feasibility studies in the countries where saplings will be planted are carried out together with authorized agricultural institutions, and saplings suitable for the region’s climate and soil conditions are identified.

We are Yardımeli; our hands, our hearts and our tables are open to every oppressed person. All oppressed people in the Ummah geography have a special place in our hearts. The responsibility of every orphan, every oppressed person and every needy individual rests on our shoulders. As Yardımeli Association, being hope, joy and Eid for every orphan, every sorrowful face and every person in need is our reason for existence.
