15 Ramadan – World Orphans Day

Protecting orphans, meeting their needs and showing compassion towards them is considered among the most virtuous deeds in Islam.

Worldwide, it is estimated that between 140 million and 153 million children have lost one or both parents due to wars, diseases and natural disasters. In a world where nearly 10,000 children become orphaned every day, these children face poverty, lack of education and the risk of exploitation.

Through projects developed for orphans, the Yardımeli Association provides support in many areas including education, shelter, healthcare and basic needs, ensuring that they are not left alone.

With the educational complexes we have built in Bangladesh, Mauritania and Sudan for the education of orphans, we provide them with education, accommodation and basic living needs so they can grow up in a safe environment and become exemplary individuals in society.

On the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, our representatives in various cities take orphan children to stores and give them the opportunity to choose their Eid clothing freely.
