This Eid, all preparations have been completed at home and abroad to share our Qurbans with our brothers and to share with them the joy of Eid.

Yardimeli with its representatives and teams in Turkey and 32 regions, this holiday will also knock on the doors of people in need of help and orphaned families in the most remote places, creating bridges of conversation and charity with the share of Qurban that it will present to them. Qurbans entrusted to our association by giving power of attorney are cut and distributed according to Islamic procedures by reading the name of the Qurban owner. You will be informed about the acceptance and slaughter of your Qurban donation via SMS. The video of the slaughter can be viewed later with the password that will be given to the Qurban owner on our website, and the images will be sent to the address as a CD at request.

Due to the pandemic a series of precautions have been taken

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic affecting the whole world, necessary measures have been taken in all regions where the organization of slaughter and distribution of Qurbans will be held. In particular, maximum attention and sensitivity will be shown to the cleanliness and hygiene of the slaughter areas. Tools and materials used at the time of slaughtering will be disinfected before cutting, butchers and officials in the cutting area will be masked, if possible, their fever will be measured and their hands will be disinfected frequently. Crowded groups will not be taken to the cutting areas, and the needy will be waiting far from the cutting areas. After slaughter and dismemberment, a distribution that will cause crowds and stampedes will be strongly avoided, paying attention to the rules of distance and mask during delivery of prepared Qurban shares to the needy.

The “1 Qurban 1 sapling” campaign, launched in 2018 within the scope of the “Qurban Slaughter and Distribution Organization”, which is carried out successfully every year in Turkey and 32 regions, will continue this year.

Seedlings planted every year within the scope of the “1 Qurban 1 Sapling” project, which was launched in 2018, have now started to bloom and sprout.

With this project, fruit saplings will continue to be planted in pre-determined areas for each slaughtered sacrifice. African countries where hot climate prevails, drought and poverty are experienced, and pilot regions in our country are planned as application areas. (Somalia-Sudan-Turkey-Mauritania)

The process begins when the donor who gives the power of attorney of the Qurban to Yardımeli also donates a seedling tree along with it. For each Qurban, which is slaughtered and distributed according to the request of the donor, fruit trees are planted in the villages and regions where we have drilled water wells, in the places and regions determined by the authorities. The care of the trees will be carried out and followed together with the association official, the village people and the headman (responsible person).

In the countries where seedlings will be planted, the necessary feasibility studies are carried out together with authorized agricultural institutions, fruit seedlings are determined in accordance with the climate and soil conditions of the region.

 Where will the Sacrifices take place?

Because of the pandemic this year, we had to cancel the organization of slaughter and distribution of Sacrifices in some areas. Because of Covid-19, teams will be sent to some regions within the framework of the conditions set, and sacrifice and distribution will be carried out through partner institutions and representatives in other regions. In areas where our foreign offices and local partner institutions are located, preparations have been made by creating teams.

The preparations that we started by aiming to reach 150 thousand families have been completed
