Our whole effort is to add meaning to the life we live, to understand the reason for our existence, and to spread the goodness our Lord commands in this temporary worldly life. Yes, Ramadan is a precious time when we turn inward and take account of ourselves. In this month, alongside our personal acts of worship, we also need to remember and remind one another of our social responsibilities.

Setting out to spread goodness, Yardımeli has completed its preparations for Ramadan 2024 with the theme Let us share goodness, let us spread abundance. In our country and across our lands of the heart, iftar tables will be set, food packages / food cards will be distributed to those in need, and with our Eid Clothing for Orphans project, which we carry out regularly every year, we will bring smiles to the faces of orphans.

Ramadan at Home

The traces of the earthquake disaster we experienced last February, which affected 11 provinces, are still in our memories. Once again, our priority this year is the earthquake region. In Adıyaman, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya and Hatay, we will meet our earthquake-affected brothers and sisters at iftar tables. Across the country, we will distribute food cards to families in need identified by our provincial representatives, and we will present Eid clothing to our orphaned children.

Ramadan Abroad

Gaza… Our minds and hearts are in Gaza. During Ramadan, we will have delivered one truck of food packages prepared in Istanbul and one truck containing food and other humanitarian aid prepared by our representative office in Malatya to Gaza. Our humanitarian aid efforts for Gaza will continue.

In Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Palestine, Lebanon, Pakistan and Somalia, we will carry the greetings of Anatolia by distributing food packages, clothing orphans and setting up iftar tables.

Food Card

With the Food Card application pioneered by Yardımeli Association, our brothers and sisters in need gain the opportunity to buy the products they want from the market in the quantity they need.

With this application, instead of a pre-prepared food package, the person in need can buy what is truly missing at home. Since our Food Cards are valid in a widespread chain store in our country, we also prevent waste by avoiding box and transportation costs.

Home Iftars

As in every Ramadan, this year too we take our iftar meals and become guests of a family in need in our city. Every day, with a different menu, we experience the abundance and happiness of gathering around the same table with our brothers and sisters in need. We do not forget the children in the home either. With the Eid clothing and other gifts we bring with us, we share in their happiness as well.
