12 Aid Trucks from Yardımeli for Palestine

Yardımeli delivered 12 trucks of humanitarian aid supplies, prepared with the support of its donors, to the Turkish Red Crescent.

Preparations are ongoing for the aid ship organized under the leadership of the Turkish Red Crescent that will depart for Palestine. Within this scope, Yardımeli delivered a total of 12 trucks of humanitarian aid materials to the Turkish Red Crescent Istanbul Anatolian Regional Logistics Center. The aid consisted of food packages containing oil, sugar, flour and dried legumes, as well as hygiene packages including detergent, hand soap, sanitary pads and other hygiene supplies.

Israel continues its massacres.

A press statement was also held during the delivery of the aid trucks to the Red Crescent. Yardımeli President Dr. Sadık Danışman, Vice President Nuri Çalışkan, Board Member Halil Aykut and General Manager İmdat Kuzu were present at the press meeting. President Danışman stated: “Since October 7, Israel has killed babies, women, the elderly and the sick and continues to do so. Unfortunately, 8 billion people are watching this on television screens. Conscientious people around the world have begun to come together to ensure a fair ceasefire and to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.”

Providing information about the humanitarian aid delivered to the Red Crescent, President Danışman said: “First of all, I would like to thank all Yardımeli donors, especially Hayat Kimya for providing hygiene materials, and the Turkish Red Crescent for enabling these aid packages to reach Palestine. I also thank the President of the Turkish Red Crescent Prof. Dr. Fatma Meriç Yılmaz and the Red Crescent staff. The 12 trucks of aid we delivered today will be loaded onto the ship departing from Mersin in January. These packages include basic food items such as flour, sugar, vegetable oil and legumes, and hygiene kits prepared with the support of Hayat Kimya including laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, toilet paper and sanitary pads.”

Yardımeli Palestine office was bombed twice by Israel

Dr. Sadık Danışman also referred to other activities of Yardımeli in Palestine: “Yardımeli was founded in 2007 and opened its Palestine office in 2008. Since then, we have carried out many projects in Palestine such as the Sister Family project, Qurbani and Ramadan projects, and various initiatives for orphan children. Our Palestine office was bombed by Israel in 2019 and completely destroyed. With the support of our donors, we opened a new office, but that office was also bombed in 2021. Our donors have always stood with the Palestinian people and alongside Yardımeli. May Allah reward them.”

He also criticized the support given by Western countries to Israel, stating: “Just as the United States, France and the United Kingdom send warships to the Eastern Mediterranean to protect Israel, which commits genocide and kills thousands of civilians in Palestine, Türkiye, Egypt, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia must come together to stop this bloodshed and show the necessary determination for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.”

October 7, 2023 will be a turning point for the Ummah and humanity

Yardımeli Vice President Nuri Çalışkan, who was present at the press conference, said:

“I hope that October 7, 2023 will become a turning point for the Ummah and humanity. So far we have not been able to stop evil, oppression and brutality, but at least let us increase goodness and good people. On this path we met truly generous friends and witnessed that they became ambassadors of goodness and helping hands. On this occasion, we extend our sincere thanks especially to Yahya Kiğılı, the owner of Hayat Kimya, his son Avni Bey, and Haluk Yıldız who mediated the cooperation between them and Yardımeli. May Allah accept their charity and make it a righteous deed invested for the hereafter.”
